docs: Elaborate on how the php_fastcgi directive works
This is mostly taken from a post I wrote on the forums last month https://caddy.community/t/php-fastcgi-only-serving-php-files-or-wildcard-possible/13918/3 which I thought was a good and thorough explanation of how the directive works, and why it works that way. Did a bit of polish on the wording the fit the language the docs usually use (IMO anyways).

Also added a ToC since the page gets a bit long after these additions, best to give users a way to jump down to the examples quickly.

The Caddy Website

This is the source of the Caddy website, caddyserver.com.

Requirements

  • Caddy 2 (installed in your PATH as caddy)

Quick start

  1. git clone https://github.com/caddyserver/website.git
  2. cd website
  3. caddy run

Your first time, you may be prompted for a password. This is so Caddy can serve the site over local HTTPS. If you can't bind to low ports, change the address at the top of the Caddyfile, for example localhost:2015.

You can then load https://localhost (or whatever address you configured) in your browser.
